The Santamaria Eye Center presents its medical team of eye doctors, both ophthalmologists and optometrists - Jaime Santamaria II, Dr. Kenneth Darvin, Dr. Laila Colicchio and Dr. Michelle Avergon. We are committed to bring our patients excellence in eye care. We specialize in detecting and treating diseases of the eye. We use the latest instrumentation and techniques in the examination and treatment of your eyes.

Dr. Jaime Santamaria II is a pioneer in cataract surgery with crystalens®, Restor® and Toric IOLs and blade free LASIK refractive surgery, with a national record of successful surgeries.

Dr. Kenneth Darvin, retinal specialist is an expert in the treatment of wet macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, glaucoma and other retinal pathology by use of intravitreal injections like Lucentis™, Avastin and Kenalog, and several types of lasers.

Dr. Laila Colicchio and Dr. Michelle Avergon, are excellent optometrists trained in the fitting of contact lenses and difficult refractions, as well as the detection of diseases of the eye.
